I discovered a small area of these tall pine trees in the woods near where I live whilst on a woodland walk. The first thing that struck me was how large they were and how high up their wispy branches grew. I wanted to capture this so climbed through bracken and brambles to shoot this one directly from below. I leant against the trunk and pointed my camera skywards to take this photo of the winter sunlight illuminating the branches above.
