Hanging Out

Every autumn the European garden spider appears in our garden like clockwork. Whilst I'm not a big spider fan, I really do find them incredible, especially when viewed up close through a macro lens. This spider decided to make its home outside our kitchen window, so I jumped at the chance to photograph it hanging on its web... luckily there was a pane of glass to separate us though!
