Bam Boo!

There's something about bamboo that has always fascinated me. I think it's because there's no plant quite like it. I love the way it grows perfectly straight and in sections, almost like it's not a plant at all. I cut down a bamboo plant in our garden and bunched up all the long fresh green bamboo canes for using later on. Before I put them away I snapped this shot of them all piled up on top of one another.
