Day 358 - 2nd July 2012

I've always wanted to take a macro photograph like this of coloured pencils. I decided to fill the frame with the pencil ends and take an up close shot of them. I thought it would look pretty cool to push the odd one back so they were on a different plane of focus too. There's something about the texture of the wood and the coloured centres that make them such an interesting subject.
