So Much Room

Toadstools and mushrooms have always fascinated me. They seem to grow in their own little world, almost as if they are too amazing to be real.

This mass of toadstools appeared on a tree stump last autumn. They disappeared almost as quickly as they grew, so I made sure I got this macro photograph of them before they vanished for another year.
