Time to Rest

Even though I'm sad to see summer go, I absolutely love everything about autumn. Whether it's the leaves changing colour and falling off the trees, the dew covered spider webs or the cold smell in the air, there's always something interesting to experience.

Every year the maple tree in next doors garden drops its leaves all over our lawn. I walked outside one morning to take a few autumn photographs and spotted this leaf laying all by itself on the grass. I'm not sure why but something about it really jumped out at me. Autumn is beautiful!
